Can sore throat / cough be an MMS1 side effect was created by larrymagee
I've been taking the maintenance dose of activated MMS for several weeks + the inhalation protocol + about 2 oz per day on my skin with DMSO.
I started feeling a cold coming on last week and started the normal protocol of 3 drops per hour. After two days my stomach was very queasy so I took a day off. Then I started again with 2 drops per hour and I'm back up to 3 drops with no queasiness.
I have had a cough and scratchy throat for the last few days. Could this be a side effect of the MMS or did I catch the cold?
thanks

I think you might have caught the cold - cough and sore throat are not a typical MMS1 side effect.
BTW, FWIW, I think a lot of people have been doing Clara's 6+6 at the start of a cold and found it quite helpful.

thanks. I did do the 6+6. I will say that this is an extremely mild cold.

Since colds are viruses (and viruses are handled differently by MMS), sometimes it takes a bit longer, Larry. I'm glad that this one is a mild one - here's hoping it's gone by tomorrow!

thanks, Pam. You got me curious so I looked up how MMS kills viruses.
"In the cases of viruses, oxidation is not the process. When chlorine dioxide is present in the environment of the virus, the special proteins of which the virus is constructed, are prevented from forming. The virus cannot grow, and thus it dies. From experiments it appears that it takes a virus several hours, and up to several days of the presence of chlorine dioxide before it dies." --http://educate-yourself.org/mms/chlorinedioxidebasics004sep12.shtml
pretty interesting.
My "cold" now consists of simply coughing up flem a few times a day.
I stopped the MMS treatment yesterday because it was too aggressive in getting the flem out and really started tasting awful. Each dose would really set off a coughing fit. It was just too much.
I've ordered some of the 1:1 HCL and I'm going back on maintenance dosing when it arrives.
I am watching my chronic neck pain. It seemed to feel better when I was doing protocol 1000, so I may go back to it soon to test it out again.

Parasites carry bacteria and virus ... sometimes when we kill the parasite ,these can spread throughout the body causing such coughs and colds etc until the MMS reaches all 'corners'!If though you were only doing a maintenance then that may have not been enough to kill the virus ... if you gained that virus ,parasite etc between courses! Think you need to continue a full course of MMS ! As to the neck pain ... do you have (or have had ) mercury fillings! From my own experience MMS seems to 'pull' mercury ... if you no longer have the fillings then continue with the MMS! If you do have fillings then stop until you get them safely removed! It seems to 'pull' that mercury and neck pain etc is the same as I experienced! You can use the herbs Black Walnut ,cloves and wormwood to treat the parasite, virus and bacteria issues until clear of mercury! Take something like Chlorella to bind those metals and also give you the benefits of the many nutrients!

Thanks, Steve. I started the full course again a couple of hours ago. That's interesting about the parasites. I've been wearing the Croft Zapper for over a year and that is supposed to kill all parasites but who knows? It seems to have worked well for heavy metals. I was tested and just had a little copper, nothing else.
My neck pain has been around for 40 years. It seemed that the pain was lessened when I was on protocol 1000. I'll be able to tell for sure this time around as that's the main reason I'm starting up again.
My 6-drop maintenance dose of MMS activated with CA tastes pretty good to me but the smaller 3-drop dose just started tasting awful a couple of days into protocol 1000. We'll see what happens this time. I've ordered some 1:1 HCL to try, too. I may have to go to CDS.
