Help, what am I doing wrong, mixing MMS ???

This morning, I was trying to mix my citric acid solution for my son as a I normally do, water (mineral) with the crystals. So far so good, then I put in my drops MMS and it did NOTHING, no yellow color, no typical smell, the solution looks a bit glassy to me, I always use the 50 % citric acid, because it is quicker. I have been thinking what I have done wrong, MMS expired : can not be, only 3 months old,
it is just standing in the colored bottle I got form the firm in my kicthen ( not much light), I opened a new packet of crystals because I was thinking that could be the reason. I mix the crystals with the water like I always do, I started over several times but still the same thing. I am probably overseeing something, can someone please help me out on this one ?

I am not sure what you are doing. When we buy mms on the internet we get a bottle of MMS ready made. We get an empty bottle and a packet of citric acid. Pour the total contents of the packet into the empty bottle.Add distilled or a very clean quality water to the bottle to just shy of the top and wait for it mix / dilute. Make sure its the same height as the liquid in the mms bottle. There. You have your 50% citric acid mix.
Add equal drops of each into a glass, wait 30 seconds and then add the water you want. 1/2 glass or more.

I also buy a bottle of MMS ready made and a packet of citric acid through the internet. I have done this several times in the past but now, I really don't know, must be getting old... Can the quality of the citric acid or mms deteriorate in one or the other way (to warm, to much light or other reason ?) I was getting very nice results with MMS 1 lately so now I am a bit dissapointed, I will try to order a new packet, wait for one week and try again. Does the MMS smell without being activated with the citric acid, mine doesn't if this could help. And the solution of citric acid+ water doesn't smell either, when I put them together it must give that typical odor and color but it doesn't. Jim Humble stated, I could also use lemon juice to activate the MMS. Do I get the same yellowish color and smell or are there differences ?

I still have MMS 2 on board and I want to keep up the good work untill my new package arrives, how much MMS 2 could he take during the day ? He is on 7x7 drops/day.

MMS will go bad if exposed to light. You are supposed to store it in the dark. Also citric acid can get cloudy after a while, unless you store it in the frig. You might try a new bottle of MMS if you have extra. If it works, then throw out the old MMS and store it in your cupboard.

I must admit I bought a 2 of mms and 2 citric acid on the internet for a friend. When I showed him how to activate it. It hardly changed colour. Certainly not the rich brown colour I have always seen. One of the two bottles of MMS had 1/2 fluid in it than the other. For it not activate correctly I asume the mms was a weak mixture or the citric acid was a weak mixture. I didnt want to play around with them so I poured them down the sink and sourced them from my original supplier

Perhaps the bottle didn't get closed tightly??? (Just speculating.)

I think the mystery is solved now, the MMS doesn't smell anymore when I open the bottle.
Someone pointed out to me that the MMS still does have to smelll, even before you mix it with the citric acid, I kept it mostly in the dark (not in fridge) but took out in the light to activate my drops on a daily basis, I thought the blue color of the bottle was protecting the MMS for (sun)light but apparently, it doesn't. I make the MMS solution and put it in capsules for him, easy to swallow, several times a/day, suppose MMS got too much light, ordered new bottles already.
