CDS & HERXHEIMER

In Jim's book, he mentions that one of the signs that the MMS is working is that you get a herxheimer reaction.

Is anyone getting said reaction from using CDS?

I'm trying to ascertain the efficacy of MMS vs CDS.

well rsbackus,
yes, the reason why some people prefer CDS is the taste, or lack of citric acid taste.
In some cases citric acid can be beneficial, it will raise stomachs pH which helps in digestion.
this is especially true for people with Gerd or acid reflux.

It's also worth noting: not all of the chlorine dioxide is liberated from sodium chlorite after 20 seconds to 3 min. some liberation takes place after digestion.

For the most part, people do not have herxheimer reactions with CDS. But I don't think that that means it doesn't work for disease. I make and use what I call 7 Day Fridge MMS (which is here on the forum) and I don't get the herx reaction with that either. Personally, I think there are at least 3 reasons why people have stomach upset problems when taking MMS. 1 is because it is a true herx reaction. Another is because of a sensitivity to citric acid and another is because of sensitivity to the unactivated MMS - because after 20 seconds of activation, there is still some "raw" MMS left over, and that causes nausea in a lot of people.

yup but as i understand the true meaning of CDS that it is actually pure ClO2 dissolved in whater then it is much much much better. Because there is not only NaClO2 in sodium chlorite you buy, but there is also NaClO3 NaCl and many other crap such as lead or mercury . and there is high percentage of NaCl in 80 % solid chlorite , as i remember it was 10-17 % . I do not really know that MMS helps me when the herx reaction appers or it is the cause of that citric acid and other stuff i listed. maybe some people cannot tolerate the raw mms activated and thats their limitation in theraphy which could be aided by CDS.

In my experience, CDS has not been as effective in overcoming disease as mixing it in the 1:1 mms/50%ca for 20 seconds way.

Kerri Rivera also has said she prefers the 1:1 mms/50%ca way to CDS and because of her unique circumstance of being associated with so many parents who use mms for their children, and her acute awareness of how even small changes to a child's diet/protocol effects children's behavior, I believe she really is the best person for us to listen to about what does and doesn't work. In her book she says that she is trying the CDS+ out though.

Maybe she would be willing to try the New 7 Day Fridge MMS out to see if it is as effective as 1:1 mms/50%ca or maybe better and without the nausea problems.

It is very difficult to make proper scientific observations from a particular set of circumstances. Remember not so long ago mercury was used to cure many sexually transmitted diseases, especially here in Africa. The sodium chlorite may have mercury and lead as trace elements, as do most supplements actually. Most things will work for a few years though, before the 'genetic momentum' of the body runs out. Even vegetarianism seems to do this...after 6 or so years years many get quite sick, but having been very healthy the first few years. I go with the maxim that knowledge is sure, wisdom is never certain. It is prudent to study those that have spent years studying disease rather than a few years, but at the same time, we cannot discount the marvellous work of people like Kerri. Salud.

Hi Ozone, I was wondering who you were referring to here? Also what you meant by your maxim. Could you clarify?
